As pioneers in lobbying, we have led the way in advocating successfully for increased procedure reimbursements. We have a long history of partnering closely with hospitals to achieve economic efficiencies, and we continue to increase patient access to new technologies.
Care for the elderly in England has traditionally been funded by the state, but it is increasingly rationed according to a joint report by the King's Fund and Nuffield Trust as the cost of care to the nation rises. People who have minimal savings or other assets are provided with care either in the home (from visiting carers) or by moving to a residential care home or nursing home. However, research by the Live-in Care Hub indicates that 97% of older people do not want to move into a care home so they often struggle without support on their own. This is true for both those who will receive state funding for their care and those who will have to pay for it themselves out of savings or by selling other assets. Larger numbers of old people need help because of an aging population and medical advances, but less is being paid out by the government to help them. A million people who need care get neither formal nor informal help.

Round the clock care provided a young female home health aide "APPLE". on her first day she appeared very caring and offered to adjust all my sister-in-laws medication. She stated that she was trained in medication, and gave us her phone number to keep us posted. On the third day she was texting myself and my wife all day while we were working. When i returned home i checked the medication as i always do, and noticed that 60 controlled pain medication was missing. When i called her to let her know she was terrified stating that her finger prints were all over every bottle but she didn't take them. When i called to complain they Round the Clock staff were rude and dismissing. I asked to speak to a supervisor they never returned my call. When i called back they just asked if i wanted someone else to come into my home, when i stated no, they became aggressively rude. I will never allow any home health agency into my home. They have ruined the experience for me. Unprofessional, and criminal rating for Round the clock.
A stroke occurs when the flow of blood to a portion of the brain is interrupted. A reduction in blood flow can occur because of a clot that blocks a blood vessel or because of bleeding in the brain. The extent of irreversible cell death that occurs from the lack of blood supply depends on the duration of the reduced blood flow. Stroke is the No. 5 leading cause of death in the United States and is a leading cause of serious, long-term disability. Stroke needs immediate medical attention.
If you think you are having a stroke, call 911 so an ambulance can quickly get to the hospital. When talking to 911, an emergency medical service or the hospital, be sure to use the word “stroke” in order to possibly speed up a diagnosis. Every minute counts when treating a stroke, raising the number of brain cells that can be saved and chances for recovery.
